	Hermann Moers Jones "LONNIE" b.1932 d.2016	Father: Elonzo Ollie Lonnie Jones Mother: Dorothy Augusta Moers	Hermann Moers "Lonnie" Jones 1932-2016 Hermann Moers Jones died peacefully in his sleep after a courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease and Dementia. Hermann graduated from Texas A&M class of 55 with BS in Petroleum Engineering; United States Marine Corps 10 years during Korean War as an electronics and hydraulics instructor. He worked along side his father on oil wells from an early age. Hermann was a successful salesman with various corporations of laboratory equipment and supplies, designed, built, and installed power panels for fire water pumps, including offshore platforms, and worked in various other construction and equipment companies, including his own. He purchased a Mooney 4 seater plane after retiring and then had to learn to fly it! (Thanks Rodney). Hermann was a lifetime Committee Member Breeders Greeters of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He spent many happy years motorcycling with family friends. Hermann is preceded in death by Lonnie Jones and Dorothy Moers Jones, and sister, Lonnie Jones. He is survived by Carolyn Milton-Jones, spouse of 9 years, Son, Donald Lloyd Jones, Daughter, Debbie Jones McClain (Gray), and Son, Dwayne Moers Jones; Granddaughters-Stephanie Early (Wayne)-5 great grandchildren and Sara Ellis (Michael) and 1 great granddaughter; cousin Tommy Holt of Lake Jackson; and (first spouse) Jan Jones (Gideon Jones). Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six oclock until eight oclock in the evening on Monday the 27th of June, in the drawing room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. The family will gather for a private interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, P.O. Box 20070, Houston, TX 77225.
