| Notes: | Following the death of his father on 10 March 1475/6, Thomas received special livery of his lands on 1 September 1476, although he was still a minor.[1][3] He was summoned to Parliament from 15 November 1482 to 15 April 1523.[1][3] Thomas supported Henry VII and in 1485/6, was given large grants from estates Sussex of the attainted Duke of Norfolk.[3] In 1514 he served as Lord Attendant on Princess Mary Tudor,[1] the Kings sister, at her marriage to Louis XII of France.[3] In 1520, Thomas was one of the Kings attendants at the Field of the Cloth of Gold.[1]
| Notes: | Thomas served in the expedition to France in 1474.[1][3] He was one of the chief commanders sent to Flanders in 1491[3] to aid Emperor Maximilian against the French.[1] In 1496/7 he commanded the forces raised to repress the rebellion in Cornwall.[1][3] In 1513, he was part of the Battle of Spurs,[1] participating in the sieges of Therouenne and Tournay
