Jan. 3, 1752, at East Hartford, Conn., son of Samuel1 and Hannah2 (Stanley)Â· Porter of Hadley, Mass. Hannah2 Stanley, daughter of Thomas1 Stanley, a brother of Timothy1 Stanley of Hartford, Conn., was the grandmother of Rev. Aaron Porter of Medford, Mass., whose daughter, Susanna married Rev. Aaron Cleveland of Haddam, Conn. These were the great-great-grandparents of Grover Cleveland, President of the United States. (Stanley Genealogy and Putnams Monthly Hist. Mag. I: 153.)
